Geely Galaxy has announced the official launch of the Battleship 700 off-roader (called Zhanjian 700 domestically) on the Chinese market on October 10, 2026. The vehicle achieved a notable milestone by receiving 43,900 pre-sale orders within the first hour of reservations opening.
The Battleship 700 is built on the Thor EM-T all-wheel-drive electric hybrid system and offers two petrol engine options: a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit producing 120 kilowatts (161 hp) and a 2.0-litre turbocharged variant delivering 160 kilowatts (215 hp), each paired with a tri-motor electric AWD configuration. The top-specification model combines these components to achieve 830 kilowatts (1,113 hp) of combined output, enabling acceleration from 0–100 km/h in 3.95 seconds.
The SUV is equipped with a 47.14 kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery, providing 305 kilometres of pure electric driving range (247 km under WLTP standards) and a combined range exceeding 1,770 kilometres (1,434 km WLTP). The chassis incorporates active hydraulic suspension, CCD damping technology, and an intelligent "magic carpet" suspension system.
Design follows the "Oriental Lion" language, with a front fascia featuring the "Sky Eye" lighting system, a full-width daytime running light, and an illuminated brand badge. Dimensioned at 5,085 mm long, 1,999 mm wide, and 1,895 mm tall, the Battleship 700 delivers a 30-degree approach angle, 31-degree departure angle, and minimum ground clearance of 233 mm for serious off-road capability.
The cabin includes a five-screen interactive display system, 14-point massage seats for driver and front passenger, and an 18.5-litre dual-opening refrigerator. All-terrain driving intelligence features 17 distinct driving modes, including "Crab Walk" and "Waltz Turn" modes that reduce turning radius to 3.36 metres. A roof-mounted LiDAR and G-Pilot intelligent driving system with high-speed and urban navigation assist complete the technology suite.
